Description

Primary Job Function/Duties:

• Conduct daily audits and inspections of incoming raw materials and frames at an assigned location to ensure desired specifications are met.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Execute daily audits and inspections in accordance with WSI procedures and specifications.
  • Provide accurate and timely quality control reports to your immediate supervisor.
  • Work with Receiving department staff to coordinate inspection of incoming materials.
  • Work with Frame department to audit frames prior to staging.
  • Keep the QA Lead informed of any potential issues that will affect quality or delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to understand furniture quality control processes and systems.
  • Previous inspection experience preferred. Incoming inspection experience a plus.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Effective communication both verbally and written skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to visibly distinguish flaws, details of products received.
  • Motivated and able to work under pressure and deadlines in the work environment.
  • Must contribute as a team player, being responsible and have initiative.
