Description
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible with ensuring the quality of Autobox/bag packages and evaluating the output to ensure its correct. To ensure quality, this role also maintains the machinery daily that produces the autobox/bag packaging by loading with proper corrugate/poly material and ensuring packages are glued and sealed properly.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Experience with application and characteristics of protective packaging components such carton, lid shipping label quality and poly bags is required
- Must be able to distinguish if production packaging is accurate and make corrections as needed
- Perform and coordinate packaging component quality assurance
- Must be able to perform Root Cause Analysis to determine reasons for damages due to improper application of protective packaging components
- Technician will complete data entry and basic reporting functions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent attendance
- Knowledge of protective packaging materials and their applications
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to simultaneously follow up on multiple issues
- Basic PC skills
- Data entry skills as needed
