POSITION SUMMARY:  Working with the Picking/Shipping management and team to ensure accurate picking, labeling and shipping of all product including accurate document filing and retention. 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Research and respond to all Shipping OS&D reports sent from Delivery HUB
  • Provide detailed information regarding root cause of shipping errors and help facilitate weekly OS&D meetings.
  • Daily shipping duties up to and including load planning of DTC, RTL, and SS freight at standard productivity while maintaining required
  • Responsible for running open drop zone report and reconciling both the shipping floor as well as determining which rack locations
  • Ensure organization and housekeeping of the area daily.
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates
  • Communication of track and trace info and inquiries from receiving HUBS, distribution planners, transportation analysts, etc.
  • Provide reporting and feedback aged allocations and wave reconciliation. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary
  • Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking/bending/lifting/standing/climbing –
  • Must be able to lift 65lbs minimum
  • Excellent PKMS (or equivalent WMS) knowledge including hand held, truck mount, and desktop
  • Ability to be fork lift certified (Order Picker/Reach Truck/Turret Truck/Sit Down/Stand Up)
  • Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure and be a fast learner.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual – English/Spanish
