Our Braselton, GA distribution center opened April 2016 and services the South Eastern Region. The majority of product handled in Georgia is furniture from all of our brands. Position Summary
Work Hours Monday-Saturday (Rotating) 7AM-3:30PM

Research incomplete waves, print and distribute manuals and be able to maneuver around PKMS, split move case, other duties as assigned.

Primary Functions

  • Ability to execute system inquiries: PKMS
    • Ability to analyze information via inquiries and care center requests to determine causes of discrepancies or issues. And to effectively report and resolve any issues in a timely manner
    • Systematically analyze, plan and select orders to be processed in the DC on a daily basis
    • Work closely with Operations teams to ensure productive flow of work throughout the DC
    • Use high speed printers to produce collates (packing slips) for each wave that is released
    • Maintain and troubleshoot issues with high speed printing equipment
    • Be sensitive to tight timelines and customer delivery commitments
  • Train others on daily work assignments when needed
  • Must have good attendance and be a team player
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable elevating on an order picker 5 stories up
  • Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day
  • Basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving
  • Certified to operate an Order Picker, Reach Truck (Raymond Brand)
  • Have working knowledge of Excel, PKMS, RF scanners , and AS400.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Heavy lifting up to 75 pounds
  • 2-4 years work experience in computer operations, experience in trouble-shooting hardware
    • Strong Communication and follow up skills
    • Strong grasp of PKMS and understanding of the waving structure.
    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • PC skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of WMS, AS400, and PKMS
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, overtime hours and weekends as needed
    • Able to use computer for an extended period of time
    • Perform various scheduled and unscheduled back-up procedures as required
    • Print, sort and distribute system generated reports for all departments
    • Understanding of distribution center work flow
    • Understand reconciliation procedures and service goals
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks
    • Willingness to work as a team
    • Must be able to maintain and trouble-shoot problems with high speed printers
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
