PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and promote hard work ethics through teamwork and collaboration with associates.
- Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company.
- Work with the Hub Admin and Lead to ensure all pieces are picked and staged on the line for assembly.
- Assemble all pieces on the daily builds list.
- Available to work voluntary/mandatory overtime based on business needs.
- Assist in the receipt/scanning of Inbound pieces.
- Report any/all damaged units to supervisor for their proper inspection or replacement.
- Work closely with Hub Furniture Techs to conduct the proper inspection of damaged units on the line.
- Available to work in the different processes performed in the HUB, as needed.
- Utilize Williams Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed.
- PKMS, Hub WS and AS400 warehousing systems preferred.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
- Excellent attendance and willingness to be a part of a team- performing whatever duties are necessary.
- Previous warehousing background desired, previous reach truck experience required.
- Availability to work full time schedule which may include nights, weekends or holidays per business needs.
- Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking/bending/lifting/standing/climbing – must be able to lift 65lbs minimum.
