POSITION SUMMARY:

The Safety and Health Coordinator will be an integral member of the Safety leadership team. This person will be engaged in developing and publishing regularly scheduled and ad hoc safety and iWarehouse metric reports. Through analyses, this role will monitor safety and iWarehouse performance across the supply chain.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Participates in the set-up and implementation of the Safety Management Information System. Williams-Sonoma is currently partnering with Applications International Corporation to implement this system.
  • Performs data entry, data analysis and creates weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports for management teams across the supply chain. If needed, obtains location information needed for these reports.
  • Coordinates and distributes the online operations managers’ monthly training program using our current vendor, SkillSoft.
  • Creates weekly and ad hoc manager training completion status reports.
  • Participates in the iWarehouse implementation plan and performs analysis to insure location compliance with the Powered Industrial Truck Policy.
  • Creates iWarehouse reports for distribution to location management across the supply chain.
  • Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Conducting inventory of tools, supplies, equipment and repair kits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent would be a plus.
  • knowledge in the use of Excel.
  • Ability to learn new tasks and concepts, gather information and data.
  • on projects that include Distribution Centers, HUBs and Customer Care Centers across the supply chain.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with cultural sensitivity and awareness is essential.
  • to work on individual initiatives as well as team initiatives.
  • Able to build strong working relationships with various team members at both the management and hourly level.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Must have good attendance and be a team player
