This new and exciting role within our global logistics operations team will be responsible for leading optimization initiatives and process improvement efforts throughout the WSI supply chain organization. This role will involve leading projects and driving change in an increasingly complex global supply chain.
The Supply Chain Solution Manager position is located in Memphis, TN.

- Facilitate the growth and optimization of WSI’s global supply chain by reducing cost, improving service, and eliminating non-value added activities
- Conduct process improvement initiatives from project ideation, to data mining and analysis, to project management and execution
- A strong internal and external customer commitment
- Analysis and optimization of international transportation network, optimum cbm utilization and awareness of business systems uses/interfaces.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels in order to work cross organizationally toward solutions and excellent leadership and consensus building skills
- Strong working knowledge of Asia, Europe and Subcon to US origin import process: Cargo, Data, Documentation flows.
- Strong emphasis on Digitization of business processes.
- Monitor and analyze P&L of the operations, establish business controls, and provide solutions to minimize cost and increase revenue. Deliver YOY savings and all other Financial and Operational performance KPIs.
- Ability to monitor and achieve financial plans and budgets
- Manage projects under aggressive time and dollar constraints
- Operate in a manner that ensures peak productivity and corporate profitability
- Business-management report development using BI tools.
- Business process SOP documentation and business-management tool development.
- Be self accountable and have the ability to take educated risks to implement new strategies and initiatives to effectively exceed requirements.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline
- At least 7 years of Transportation experience with constant progression
- Experience in Ocean and Origin Operations (CFS) environment.
- Strong Leadership skills
- Proven track record of managing multiple highly complex projects and change management
- General knowledge of supply chain principles, project management and Six Sigma beneficial
- Ability to analyze current processes and drive change based on findings
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and with external providers
- Proficient in all MS Office, with strong capability in database applications like SQL server, Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of MS Projects, GTNexus, QlikView, EDI. Lean, Six Sigma and Visio is preferred.
