Shipping Clerk
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday; 4pm - 12:30am

Position Summary: Working with Picking & Shipping management and team to ensure accurate processing, inspection, disposition, and packaging to meet the service level expectations of internal and external customers.

Primary Functions:

  • Monitor the DTX load process and close out DTX loads daily
  • Track cartons via PKMS/Reports
  • Load/manifest cartons to furniture loads as needed
  • Close furniture (fluid) loads
  • Close open manifests for UPS/Upload PLD
  • Ensure organization and housekeeping of the area daily
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and daily shipping duties up to and including load planning of DTC, RTL, and SS freight at standard productivity while maintaining required accuracy percentage.
  • Daily put-away duties including putting away of product of all types of MHE, and loading of product to trailers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to work in a non-climate controlled facility
  • Ability to lift up to 65 pounds throughout the shift & continuous physical exertion - walking, bending, lifting, standing, etc.
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts at heights up to 45 feet
  • Experience with PKMS or equivalent warehouse management system
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail while performing tasks and report
  • Must work harmoniously with the team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
