Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The QA Tech is responsible for furniture repairs, furniture deluxing, and moving furniture to designated work areas on a daily basis. Communicate with peers, leads and managers to ensure daily goals are attained and perform other duties as made necessary by the business to provide customer service. The work hours for this position are Monday-Friday 5am - 130pm with overtime as required

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Work safely and contribute to a professional environment
  • Ensure 100% inspection of upholstery and furniture following furniture medic inspection process
  • Ensure customer owned pieces are being worked on and prioritized in the shop
  • Maintain a log of all repaired pieces during load out and throughout the day in the shop
  • Performance repairs as needed to ensure 100% quality assurance for next day home deliveries
  • Ensure organization and housekeeping of the Shop on a daily basis
  • Assemble/deluxe furniture and stage prior to delivery when needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in Furniture Assembly
  • Must be familiar with RF and AS400 Systems
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed in identifying errors and imperfections
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and a fast learner
