Position Summary:
- Successful candidate will be responsible for flashing outbound cartons and following our OS&D standards. Candidate will be responsible for the integrity and housekeeping of an assigned outbound area.
Primary Functions:
- Work together with the Outbound team to maintain the outbound flow, service levels, OS&Ds.
- Ability to identify damages
- Ability to communicate with his/her teammates in a professional manner
- Assist the outbound department with any pending tasks
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments
- Keep work area safe and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements
Qualifications:
- Self motivated individual able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable individual able to work with minimal errors
- Detailed oriented with strong multi-tasking and sense of urgency skills
- Able to work overtime as required
- Drive and desire to learn Williams-Sonoma products
- Preferred knowledge of PkMS and MS office
- Sit down experience optional
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 70 lbs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
- Follow safe work methods while working in a fast-paced environment
