The Forklift Driver position is located in Arlington, TX.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... 

  • Putaway received pallets using Locate Case functions in the Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS)
  • Create space on the floor
  • Fix broken pallets for/with product
  • Daily putaway duties including putting away of product of with various types on MHE and loading of product to trailers as needed
  • Utilize RF Equipment to relocate inventory
  • Able to physically and systemically load/unload trailers using lift and RF equipment
  • Keep up with “door 288” - making sure the area is clear and always safe
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
  • Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity, and quality standards
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months experience with RF scanners
  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts at heights up to 45 feet
  • Ability to learn warehouse management system functions like Pick Ticket Managemet Systems (PKMS)
  • Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers
  • Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
  • Flexible to work overtime as required

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish

  • Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must be able to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation
  • Physically lift, move and palletize boxes up to 65 lbs
