POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary function of this position is to create digitized frame CAD drawings.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Create frame CAD drawings per Product Development blueprint specifications for new and existing styles.
  • Organize, analyze data and prepare technical reports and specification sheets for frame construction vendors to ensure proper work flow for plant productivity.
  • Work with Brands on developing new and existing styles in auto CAD for use in specification packs for the plants.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years of experience creating digitized frame drawings using CAD in the production of upholstered furniture.
  •  Experience in reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Ability to interpret instructions and operate a computer efficiently.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
