PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Expected to rotate between departments for an extended period of time.
  • Stablish and promote hard work ethics through teamwork and collaboration with associates.
  • Utilize Williams Sonoma's Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments. 
  • Solicit opinions of team members and departmental operations in an effort to maximize productivity and quality objectives.
  • Share business information with teammates through floor experience, suggest improvements to current techniques. 
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Work cooperatively and harmoniously with supervisor, co-workers, and others.
  • Control workflow on the floor prioritizing team goals to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Track productivity, research and resolve issues, provide feedback in relation to productivity and quality.
  • Train and direct team of associates to achieve departmental and division production goals.
  • Ability to multitask, and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports.
  • Coordinate team assignments by balancing resources as the volume requires.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience in distribution, manufacturing or retail environment.
  • Patient, excellent listening skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in collaboration with cross functional teams to accomplish common goals.
  • Strong computer skills in the use of the different system that the company uses: PKMS. TPM, SAN FRAN3, YARD VIEW, as well as basic experience in office suite.
  • Organized, detailed, and strong  multi-tasking skills.
  • Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking/bending/lifting/standing/climbing – must be able to lift 65 lbs. minimum
