Sutter Street Manufacturing is a subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Our Sutter Street Manufacturing Facilities in NC and MS are looking to hire hard-working and motivated associates to join our amazing manufacturing team! The ideal associate will possess previous furniture manufacturing experience, promote safety, and demonstrate teamwork. The Repair Cutter position is located in Claremont, NC

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... 

• Responsible for re-cutting fabric if repairs needed. Check that correct fabric is brought out and check for shade variations and any other defects prior to cutting
• Responsible for straightness, fabric repeat issues and other issues related to correct fabric appearance on the finished piece
• Responsible for spreading and cutting fabric in the most economic way
• After cutting, is responsible for tagging and separating the cover for distribution to sewing department
• Must always keep area clean and neat, including placing scraps in recycling bins
• Must keep patterns neat, clean and out of the way
• Other duties assigned 

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Up to 5 years experience in fabric cutting for upper-end upholstered furniture
• Experience reading and understanding production tickets
• Ability to interpret simple cutting instructions commonly placed in a cutting manual
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements
