Since it was founded in 1956, Williams - Sonoma has grown from Chuck Williams’ single store in Sonoma, CA into one of the largest retailers in the country, with some best known and most beloved brands in home furnishings, including Williams – Sonoma. Pottery Barn and West Elm.

The primary role of this position is as a setup coordinator who will work with the Sutter Street R & D department to coordinate and track setup of new items in the AX Operating System.

The Bill of Materials Admin (BOM)  position is located in Booneville, Ms.
 

You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  • Coordinate and establish tracking for AX system setup for all new items at all manufacturing locations.
  • Work with purchasing representative(s) to ensure the distribution of product specifications and RFQs (Request for Quote) for the appropriate location and to the appropriate vendor.
  • Track and report on status on adherence to deadlines via email or update meetings as needed.
  • Track completion in each area required for system setup to be ready for customer orders by established deadlines.
  • Write standard operating procedures for the system setup process.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities as required.
  • Complete assigned projects independently and work well within a team environment.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all associates, management staff, and vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain files, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports verifying content and accuracy.
  • Collaborate on other projects as needed.
  • Work safely and contribute to a professional environment.
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and department.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge – primarily Excel.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and work extra hours as needed.

  • Experience in an upholstery manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attendance and strong teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure.
