Schedule
Monday, Thursday-Saturday; 6am-4:30pm
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment to include reach lifts, order pickers, turret trucks (swing arm), pacers, and sit-down.
  • Perform duties as assigned to include fork lift put-away and picking.
  • Ensure proper documenting and system updates concerning inventory locations occur Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory
  • Verify piece by ensuring manufacturer carton label matches delivery documents Remove furniture from packaging of cardboard and other packaging (deluxe) Stage and inspect all furniture following outbound guidelines for final inspection Verify all parts/pieces are present
  • Inspect furniture closely noting any blemishes with marking tape Disposition Returned Merchandise after inspection
  • Load trailers
  • Perform end of day clean up or additional task as the workload requires Works cooperatively with others
  • Observes all WSI safety and company rules/regulations/policies Other duties as assigned
  • Utilize Williams Sonoma's Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Self-motivated individual able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and sense of urgency skills.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and lift, push or pull up to 70lbs throughout the day
  • High School Diploma or general education degree or equivalent is preferred Previous experience with furniture and/or warehousing is desire
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must
  • Ability to work under pressure and be a fast learner.
