WORK SCHEDULE

2nd Shift; Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Able to perform wood and upholstery repairs including burn-ins, wood raining and clear finish.
  • Repair on top surface (larger than 1/2 inch).
  • Colormatch on \top surface.
  • Proper applications of sealers and top coats.
  • Polishing top coat to vendor specifications.
  • Cross grain scratches burn in and rubbed out.
  • Proper application of finishes using spray gun.
  • Minor to more complex repair of damages/defects in order to meet standards (e.g., wood repair, touch up, burn in, fill sticks, etc.)
  • Paint and finish color-matching for wood products, using lacquers for flat to high gloss finishes
  • Inventory and organize all shop tools and repair materials/supplies
  • Assist in other areas of the furniture hub operations as needed

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Upholstery and wood repair including burn-ins.
  • Positive attitude with strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Dependable and deadline oriented with ability to perform under pressure.
  • Excellent attendance, communication skills, and willingness to be part of a team, performing whatever duties are necessary.
  • Furniture repair skills assessment testing may be required as part of the interview process.
