POSITION SUMMARY:

Working with operations management, leads, and team to ensure to ensure accurate receipt, audit, record keeping, and inventory integrity throughout the receiving process using a handheld RF scanner.
 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Receiving and labeling of inbound product for shipments using RF scanner

• Receiving and Putaway functions in PKMS to include understanding lock codes applications, usage and reasons for difference codes

• Ensures type-2 SKUs are received and reconciled properly

• Ensures received pallets are labeled and stickered accordingly

• Ensures assigned zone is organized and received 100% daily

• Handle newly received product and stage for put away/processing

• Physically lift, move and palletize boxes up to 65 lbs

• Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment

• Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily

• Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards

• Other duties as deemed necessary

   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary

• Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must be able to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks

• Ability to do basic math – addition, multiplication, subtraction and division

• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS)

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner

• Flexible to work overtime as required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish
