Essential Job Functions

  • Work as a team to help process orders by gathering all raw materials and delivering to line(s) and keeping areas clean and organized
  • Collecting materials per listing, organizing buggies and supplying the production line with supplies and maintaining good records and inventory
  • Duties include team effort, communication, understanding and completing pull list, moving frame pallets to line(s)
  • Retrieve empty pallets and buggies timing moving pulled parts in buggies to line(s)
  • Reshuffling buggies to maintain a good organization, reporting on missing or damaged parts and overall cleaning of plant
  • Responsible for maintaining materials and supplies on the production line to help in packing
  • Pulling cushions, backs, poly and fiber kits
  • Assisting frame builders with pulling frames
  • Stage furniture covers to the line
  • Keep production workers stocked with needed materials

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in upholstered furniture
  • Good attention to detail
  • Read and understand production tickets
  • Perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment to ensure delivery requirements are met
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Follow documented standards and procedures
  • Frequently lift and push objects weighing up to 50 lbs or more
  • Excellent time management skills, including ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Stand, bend and twist as required in order to complete the job
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and possess accurate depth perception for determining the shape of the parts
