Our Braselton, GA distribution center opened April 2016 and services the South Eastern Region. The majority of product handled in Georgia is furniture from all of our brands. Position Summary
Interacts directly daily with Operations Manager, General Manager, and Lead to determine the work load demand availability as well as what needs to be waved to operations.  Oversees execution, waving and printing of orders to be handed off to operations nightly. 

Primary Functions

 
  • Ability to execute systems inquiries in OMS & WMS.  Components of WMS functionality include PK Allocation (manage all components of customers order across all DC's) and PKMS (manages components of a customer order inside a particular DC).
  • Ability to analyze information via inquiries and care center requests to determine causes of discrepancies or issues and to effectively report and resolve any issue in a timely manner.
  • Systematically analyze, plan, and select orders to be processed in teh DC on a daily basis. Work closely with Operations team to ensure productive flow of work throughout DC.
  • Use high speed printers to produce collates (packing slips for each wave that is released).
  • Be sensitive to tight timelines and customer delivery commitments. 
  • Train others on daily work assignments when needed.
  • Must have good attendance and be a team player.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in computer operations, experience in trouble-shoot hardware
  • Strong grasp of PKMS and understanding of waving instructions
  • Perform various scheduled and unscheduled back-up procedures as required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Comfortable sitting 90% of the day
  • Basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving
  • Have working knowledge of Excel, PKMS, RF scanners , and AS400.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
