Warehouse Admin Position Available! Direct Hire

Shift Hours: Monday – Friday 5:00am-1:30pm

***Ideal candidate for the position will have stable work history, proficient in MS Office, and experience working in a warehouse environment***

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working with operations management, leads, and team to ensure to ensure accurate receipt, audit, record keeping, training and inventory integrity throughout the receiving process.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Send out daily Inbound report

  • Able to read and understand GT Nexus

  • Research purchase orders discrepancies and communicate to the brand

  • Audit and track inbound receipts for accuracy, verify shipments, provided OS&Ds to correct parties

  • Create live unload appointments and maintain live unloads calendar

  • Create daily receiving plan

  • Create shipments and receiving worksheets for the receivers

  • Maintain manual shipment log

  • Maintain YardView housekeeping; making sure every trailer is identified accordingly and in a timely manner

  • Monitor back order reports to make sure trailers are prioritized

  • Work with receivers to ensure new SKUs are updated with putaway type and pallet size in PKMS, and make sure W&Ms are completed

  • Research aging type-2s and crossdock cartons

  • Read and understand CCUI

  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment

  • Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily

  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards

  • Other duties as deemed necessary

     

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary

  • Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must be able to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation

  • 6 months experience with RF scanners

  • Excellent PKMS (or equivalent WMS) knowledge including hand held, truck mount and desktop

  • MS Office Proficient: Outlook & Word – Basic to Intermediate; Excel – Intermediate to Advanced Skills required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary

  • Ability to multitask and possess research skills

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner

  • Flexible to work overtime as required

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual is a plus – English/Spanish
