POSITION SUMMARY:
The facility maintenance technician will perform daily duties. Such as painting, installing guard rails, patching holes in drywall, basic plumbing, replacing ceiling tiles, replacing light bulb and ballast, hanging pictures and dry erase boards, and other general maintenance duties as assigned.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Monitor, maintain and perform standard repairs and maintenance.
  • Asses and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on personal, as well as company owned tools and equipment.
  • Read, interpret, and implement work orders and schedule.
  • Acquire materials needed to complete repairs/work orders.
  • Document facilities maintenance requirements and maintain appropriate records or work performed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in general maintenance/construction field to include: roofing, carpentry, plumbing, cabinetry, electrical, building construction, etc. (HVAC experience is NOT required). Commercial experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma (or vocational school or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring repairs, drywall repairs, and carpentry work.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience to safely operate a wide array of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to work independently, with flexibility, and self-reliance.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
