The ideal associate will possess previous furniture manufacturing experience, promote safety, and demonstrate teamwork. The Leather Sewer position is located in Claremont, NC. This position is responsible for sewing leather using established guidelines and procedures.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Pulls from the Eton System.
• Adhere to the established sewing standards including: ½” seams
• Make sure the sewing is straight or align with cover pattern, making sure there are no dropped stitches.
• place the bundle in its proper place on Eton hanger.

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

• Up to 5 years of experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment
• Experience sewing slipcovers is a plus.
• Experience reading and understanding production tickets interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual
• Ability to frequently lift bundles of approximately 50 lbs.
