  • 14.5M square feet of small parcel, personalization, furniture, and manufacturing space in the domestic US, Williams-Sonoma has developed an agile and capable distribution network consisting of the following:
    • Large package / furniture distribution centers located in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey totaling 9.2M square feet plus another 1.2M square feet of standalone final-mile furniture hubs.
  • Small package eCommerce distribution centers located in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2M square feet, consisting of over 1,000 full-time associates and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi

The Merchandise Processor(s) - Receiving position is in Claremont, NC.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Receive product and verify product from a packing list.
  • Unload Vendor trucks and containers.
  • Ability to read and identify numbers on the fabric rolls.
  • Flexible assignments on the Receiving Dock.
  • Work with RF scanners to locate fabric.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Teamwork is a must.

  • At least 3 years of experience in Receiving department.
  • Knowledge of distribution computer systems (WMS & OMS)
  • Computer and Microsoft Office experience.
  • Standard warehouse operation experience.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Forklift experience and certification, Turret, Order Picker, Sit Down, Reach.
  • Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Good communication skills - oral and written.

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Ability to frequently lift rolls weighing approximately 75 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to bend and twist.
  • Ability to work on your feet the entire shift.
