Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to remove, label, and sort cut fabric pieces from automated cutting machine.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages cut pieces and denims

  • Counts/labels/ tags pieces

  • Scans ticket

  • Puts scraps in trash bin

  • Experience reading and understanding production tickets
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements
  • Good communication skills – oral and written
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
  • Excellent time management skills including the ability to work independently with little supervision

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years experience with a Gerber cutting machine.

  • Computer operating experience

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to frequently lift fabric rolls weighing up to 100 lbs or more
  • Ability to stand for 10 hour periods
  • Good vision with or without corrective lenses
  • Ability to see patterns on fabrics
  • Possess good color distinction
