This position is responsible for fabric picking and proper handling of fabric to support the team.
The Merchandise Processor(s) - Fabric Picking position is in Claremont, NC.
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
- Receive and split fabric rolls.
- Properly weigh fabric rolls and use the system weight multiplier.
- Work with Hand Scanners for tracking and moving inventory.
- Palletize fabric rolls and label accurately utilizing printed labels.
- Unload material from vendor trucks and containers.
- Pick fabric on demand by schedule.
- Put away fabric by location using RF hand scanners.
- Utilizing computers to look up locations for material.
Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….
- At least 1 year forklift/order picker driving experience - Stand Up, Sit Down Forklift, Reach, Order picker experienced.
- Ability to frequently lift rolls weighing approximately 75 lbs. or more.
- Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
- Ability to muti-task.
- Computer experience.
- Able to work on Order picker more than 20ft in the air.
We prefer some of these qualities as well…. (optional)
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Good communication skills – oral and written.
- Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.
