Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Inventory control, receiving product to racks/storage.

  • Understand and be able to coordinate, locations, organize, store inventory.

  • Verify inbound shipments, direct storage of product and verify counts.

  • Verify discrepancies and reconcile them.

  • Transfer inventory between trailers, receiving dock and racks.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

  • Understand timelines and deadlines for business needs

  • Cycle counting experience.

  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma's Mission, Vision and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments

  • Keep work area safe and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements

  • Perform detailed tasks with minimal errors

  • Ability to achieve established productivity standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in upholstered furniture

  • Good attention to detail

  • Perform multiple tasks in a fast pace environment to ensure inventory requirements are met

  • Maintain accurate records

  • Follow documented standards and procedures

  • Frequently lift and push objects weighing up to 50 lbs or more

  • Excellent time management skills, including ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Stand, bend, and twist as required in order to complete the job

  • Strong communication (verbal and written)

  • Positive attitude, a strong work ethic and good communication skills

  • Dependable and flexible with schedule

  • Ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner

  • Follow safe work methods while working in a fast-paced environment
