$1000 Sign on Bonus
 

This is a 1st shift position, Monday – Thursday, 5:00am -3:30pm, Overtime as required

Position starts at $18.50 per hour

Position Summary:

Associate responsible for helping to maintain inventory accuracy throughout the building in both Primary and Reserve locations. Maintain inventory related Lock Code (Holds) and other reports according to company guidelines. Provide inventory related experience and knowledge support to other departments throughout the company. Analyze inventory related errors, provide feedback, develop root cause and associated actions to correct problems identified.

 

Primary Functions:

  • Must be familiar with Radio Frequency and AS400 system
  • Process damaged SKU’s, work with Transitional, SKU look up, location moves, pick merchandise if needed
  • Perform cycle counting reserve locations using order picker, (min 663 per day)
  • Research inventory variances, problem SKU’s and research SKU’s on lock code report
  • Maneuver around PKMS to split and/or move cases along with other duties assigned
  • Research lost merchandise in mods, process wave closure collates
  • Complete active cycle counts from picking location – (min 70 per day)
  • Investigate cycle count and other inventory related errors and provide feedback to warehouse daily
  • Perform Free Space audits, location audits, dock audits and drop zone audits
  • Provide support to other departments on Inventory Related issues
  • Able to lift merchandise 75 lbs or heavier consistently
  • Must not be scared of heights, must be able to walk around the warehouse and must not have problems standing all day
  • Must be able to drive an order picker or be willing to train to drive a forklift
  • Train others on daily work assignments when needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient working knowledge of PKMS warehouse management system, Value Added System and Debit Memo databases
  • Be familiar with all Hold Codes and their proper use and application
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure
  • Able to work independently without direct supervision
  • Able to stand / walk 90% of the workday
  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team - performing various duties as necessary for the benefit of the department and company
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified to operate an Order Picker, Reach Truck (Raymond Brand)
  • Comfortable elevating on an order picker 5 stories up
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
