POSITION SUMMARY:

Working with operations management, leads, and team to ensure to ensure accurate processing of all returns, inspections, repackaging, and disposition of product.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Assists with furniture return operations to include receiving inbound trailers, preparing outbound trailers
  • Tracking and analyzing disposition methods, OS&Ds, and preparing reports
  • Collaborate with all Hubs to ensure OS&D reports, as well as proper trailer loading techniques and areas of improvement, are communicated daily
  • Ensure merchandise processors are using correct disposition codes in return app system, maximize return to stock product and minimize scrap product
  • Prioritize inbound trailers to avoid aging trailer penalty fees
  • Forecast inbound trailers and build schedule based on inbound report
  • Track trailers unloaded, OS&D information, and disposition data
  • Use PKMS to reconcile PND, temporary and bulk locations each week
  • Work with 3PL associates to ensure daily productivity standards are met
  • Create manual manifest for redirect shipments
  • Research order history to find additional returns information
  • Cross train in outlet outbound procedures
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
  • Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards
  • Other duties as deemed necessary

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary
  • Job requires continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must be able to lift 65 pounds minimum with or without accommodation
  • 6 months experience with RF scanners
  • Excellent PKMS (or equivalent WMS) knowledge including hand held, truck mount and desktop
  • MS Office Proficient:  Outlook & Word – Basic to Intermediate; Excel – Intermediate to Advanced Skills required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary (English)
  • Ability to multitask and possess research skills
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
  • Flexible to work overtime as required
