The primary function of this position is to inspect all upholstered furniture that has been cleared and loaded onto conveyor before it is shipped to the customer.

The QA Belt Inspector position is located in Booneville, MS.

You'll  be excited about this opportunity because you will.... 

  • Assure ticket and fabric are correct with the frame piece it is built on.
  • Assure the cushions and backs are correct and match the piece.
  • Confirm the correct legs are in place and any extra legs are with the product prior to it being sent to shipping.
  • Inspect overall appearance to include standing back and visually checking furniture for defects.
  • Complete final inspection to include, but not limited to, all seams sewn straight, no dropped stitches, no puckered fabric, no fabric defects visible, cushion corners even side to side with tailoring correct, cushions & back filled out correctly and fit the piece, no lumps or cat tracks, assure all welt is straight and even.
  • Assure all deck labels are in correct location.
  • Take photos of each piece for tracking quality issues.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the area is maintained throughout the shift.
  • After furniture is inspected and if no repairs are needed, scan ticket and move furniture into the shipping department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • At least 1 year of experience in in quality control with specific experience in upholstered furniture.  
  • Experienced in using computers for tracking and updating kit location for customer service.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written.
  • Experience in reading and understanding production tickets.
  • Ability to interpret simple instructions commonly placed in a production manual.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Have good Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates and managers.
  • Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision with a strong sense of urgency and time management to meet established deadlines. 


We prefer some of these qualities as well…. 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Bi-lingual skills, English and Spanish, are a plus. 


Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role…. 

  • Ability to sit or stand for 12-hour periods and bend and twist at waist and knees as required to inspect furniture.
  • Ability to see patterns on fabrics and color variations.
  • Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds frequently as needed.
