POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for seasonal supply chain recruiting that will best optimize Williams-Sonoma people, strategy, core values and culture.
 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviews applications and resumes
  • Matches candidates with the qualifications for open position
  • Schedule and conducts phone and in-person interviews with non-exempt applicants
  • Conducts New Hire Orientation sessions in partnership with HR team.
  • Responsible for pre-employment screenings, including sending applicants for drug testing and submitting information for background checks and employment status via e-Verify system.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all items regarding information obtained during the hiring process.
  • Responsible for organizing/coordinating job fairs
  • Updates weekly spreadsheets on new employment activity, and candidate status using New Hire Logs in MS Excel.
  • Follows established processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Works harmoniously and cooperatively with peers and subordinates
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months previous recruiting or human resource experience
  • 1 years proficient experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and extra hours as needed
  • MUST have ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish (written and verbal) preferred.
