STATUS: 1 Part-Time, Non-Exempt
SHIFT: Hours Vary, 20-30 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR / Learning Administrative Assistant will maintain administrative systems and business processes that allow effective management of training for non-exempt employees in a distribution environment. In addition, this position will support the administration, coordination, and application of company-wide training policies, procedures, and practices regarding the recruiting function.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides administrative support to the Talent and Operations Teams.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining files for applications and Training and Certification.
  • Assists the training department with new hire classes; including scheduling, completing paperwork, and conducting training sessions.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Complete assigned projects independently and work well within a team environment
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all associates and management staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years previous training administrative, office, data entry, or clerical work experience
  • Three (3) years highly proficient experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Learning Administration systems
  • Must be detailed oriented, well organized, and demonstrate excellent follow-through skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle high volume workload in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and extra hours as needed
  • MUST have ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish (written and verbal) preferred.
