POSITION FUNCTION: Responsible for the review and correction of inventory-related transactions associated with the receipt, cost and quantities with the AX system and the related variance analysis of inventory transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and compare inventory transactions in the AX system. Quantify and investigate discrepancies.

Data entry of changes to quantities in order for the plants to be able to process transactions timely when necessary.

Assist with plant cycle counts and physical inventories as directed as well as perform audits of counts when needed.

Work with floor personnel to resolve issues with inventory transactions in a timely manner.

Participate in meetings involving inventory issues and explain how transactions are impacting quantities and valuations.

Produce and distribute various reports using tools such as spreadsheet, database, query and report-writing software.

Assist with monthly closing activities.

Perform any other duties as assigned.

Ability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

3 – 4 years accounting experience a preferred.

Associates degree in Accounting or related business field desired.

Inventory control or general accounting experience handling large transaction volumes a plus.

Strong systems and analytical skills.

Possess sound business judgment with the ability to work independently and think critically.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Able to analyze data and produce reports to assist operations. Willingness to learn new tasks.
