The Lead Merchandise Processor supervises the Inventory Control and Waving team, overseeing daily inventory operations such as order reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory adjustments.
The Lead Merchandise Processor position is located in Braselton, GA
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
- Lead daily order reconciliation processes, including floor research, return-to-stock (RTS), location checks, and re-picks
- Support reconciliation of RTL and Furniture orders in collaboration with team leaders and staff
- Supervise cycle counters, fostering teamwork and driving process improvements to boost count accuracy and productivity
- Oversee daily inventory reporting, including Shrink Snapshot, PND, Transitional, unlocated case errors, and cancellations
- Coordinate with all departments to resolve aged transactions from ICC Dashboard reports
- Manage daily inventory adjustments, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain shrink metric records
- Complete and review all required inventory reports, such as Lock Code, CC Variance, IP/DL mismatch, and CC productivity/error reports
- Develop and maintain reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ICC and other departments, emphasizing cross-departmental collaboration
- Manage departmental supply requests and maintain appropriate supply inventory levels
- Communicate and enforce safety practices and policies across the team
- Support management initiatives to achieve distribution center (DC) scorecard goals
- Track productivity, research and resolve issues, and provide performance feedback to team members and management
- Coordinate and resolve ICC and partial replacement issues by liaising with ICC Management, the DC, and Care Centers
- Address customer correspondence by researching and providing information through calls or written communication
- Train team members on daily work assignments as needed
- Maintain strong attendance and promote a collaborative team environment
- Perform additional duties and projects assigned
- Utilize Excel, Power BI, and Dynamics for data analysis and reporting
- Apply knowledge of waving processes in daily operations

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience operating an Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Swing Reach (Raymond brand) equipment
- Comfortable working at heights up to five stories on an order picker
- Able to walk or stand for 90% of the workday
- Basic knowledge of receiving, replenishment, picking, shipping, inventory control, profiling, and waving processes
- Proficient with Excel, WMOS, RF scanners, and Power BI; strong general computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Able to perform basic math (addition and subtraction)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing and able to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attendance record and a strong team player attitude

- Demonstrate manual dexterity, including eye/hand coordination, use of foot pedals, repetitive wrist motion, and fine motor skills for picking, pinching, holding, and grasping
- Stand and walk for extended periods, including working on concrete floors for long hours
- Work in confined spaces and occasionally perform repetitive motion tasks; noise levels are typically moderate
