Position Summary:
This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Primary Functions:

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing materials throughout the DC for processing

Process inbound BOL’s, shipping manifest, perform all administrative functions associated with scheduling and unloading of inbound freight

Process outbound BOL’s, perform all administrative functions associated with the scheduling and loading of outbound freight

Read, conduct research and compose professional e-mail responses to all department inquiries received

Answer and re-direct incoming calls

Filing of department paperwork (shipment paperwork, BOL and Commercial invoices)

Perform a variety of job functions, including system work in MS Office, Qlik View, GT Nexus, Yard View and PkMS

Perform analysis and summarize data pulled from various Qlik View dashboards at the request of the department manager

Create excel based reports as requested by department manager

General housekeeping which includes maintaining a clean and orderly work area
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel)

Have prior experience working with PkMS, Qlikview and Yard View

Work well without supervision and be willing to cross train in other job functions such as load planning and inventory control

Must be able to multi-task and learn new warehouse operating systems in a fast-paced environment

Must be highly attentive to detail, have a team-first attitude and an ability to analyze new processes
