The Sewing Operator - Double Needle position is located in Claremont, NC.
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
- Read and understand production tickets and be able to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
- Sew flat in upholstery.
- Ability to double needle sew, top stitch, and serge, cushion, flat, slipcover, borders, and zippers.
- Making sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper end upholstered furniture.
- Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
- Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
- This is an onsite and in office role.
We prefer some of these qualities as well…
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills-oral and written.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
