Position Summary:

  • Inventory control Material Processor
  • MHE certified operator (Order Picker/537/Reach)

Primary Functions:

  • Ability to scan and read sku’s and tracking numbers
  • Ability to determine master cases and Inner packs
  • Must be able to perform cycle counts and understand the processes of inventory reconciliation
  • Have basic math skills to be able to determine variances and root cause analysis
  • A general understanding of PkMs for locating product with knowledge for using spreadsheets and LPN’s
  • Coordinate with leads for daily task and work loads
  • Stage pallets and assist with loading product for transfers and shipment when required to do so
  • Understand and coordinate Ti Hi’s for accurate cycle counting
  • Task also include running reports from PkMS (D&T, transfers, lock codes)
  • Understand lock codes and applications, usage along with reasons for different codes
  • Task also include and not limited to transferring inventory between buildings and divisions, inventory integrity checks, handling product and some product profiling
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft excel spreadsheets are a must
  • Strong sense of urgency in understanding timelines and deadlines for business needs
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision and Values to govern daily activities, including guidance to other associates and departments
  • Keep work area safe and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MHE certified operator (Order Picker/537/Standup Reach)
  • Ability to learn and understand all of the above job functions
  • Basic understanding of PkMS and Microsoft excel spreadsheets
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Dependable and flexible with schedule
  • Ability to work under pressure and be a fast learner
