The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing support for general housekeeping of restrooms, breakrooms, facility maintenance, and preventative maintenance of fire extinguishers, dock doors, dock levelers, and other miscellaneous general warehouse equipment.
The General Maintenance Technician position is located in Tracy, CA.
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will….
- Provide support for general housekeeping/cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and facilities
- Shuttle pallets, clear end caps, recycle area support with cardboard/trash
- Run the floor scrubber
- Provide preventative maintenance of fire extinguishers, dock doors, and other general warehouse equipment
- Work with maintenance staff to maintain a safe and functional work environment
- Operate material handling equipment

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to fix basic repairs throughout the facility
- Performing other duties as assigned

- Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
- Able to lift up to 65 lbs
- Able to work at heights and unusual positions
- Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and work around moving equipment – often while working in uncomfortable positions
- Dexterity in the eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching holding, grasping) and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces
- Occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Comfortable with walking/standing 100% of the day
