The primary role of this position is to inspect and report on fabric defects to include shade, width and defect tolerances.

Primary Functions
  • Complete daily inspection of fabric rolls
  • Report defects found in fabric shade, width and fabric tolerances
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • No less than 1 year fabric inspection experience
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Microsoft Office to include a working knowledge of Excel
  • Attention to detail, follow through and good communication skills necessary
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly
  • Forklift certified or the ability to be certified
  • Ability to stand/walk 95% of the day
  • Must be able to distinguish colors and shade variations
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer employment physical screen

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using and grading to Joint Industry Fabric Standards
  • Leather inspection experience a plus
  • Degree or certification in textiles or related field preferred
