The Finance Manager will oversee the distribution center financial and operational reporting process. Among their responsibilities, the Finance Manager will perform month end duties including financial close, forecast, monthly reporting. Additionally, this position oversees weekly labor reporting, ad hoc analysis, and an annual budget.

The Finance Manager position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  • Manage month end close process including preparing/approving DC related journal entries
  • Complete monthly forecast including adjustments for a change in brand volume changes and operations adjustments
  • Prepare distribution center annual budget, which includes working with the operations for year over year improvements
  • Prepare monthly/weekly reports for operations and leadership teams
  • Manage the invoice life cycle process for distribution center related invoices across multiple U.S. locations
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for operations and corporate finance teams
  • Propose improvements to month end procedures, day-to-day job responsibilities and other functions within the Distribution Center Finance team
  • Take an active role in managing and partnering to influence business decisions
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Cross train with other members of Distribution Center Finance team

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or in business with emphasis in accounting and/or finance
  • At least 5 years of  progressive experience in finance/accounting role
  • At least 5 years of experience working with MS Excel; including pivot tables and functions such as sumifs, vlookups
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of MS Access with experience performing ad hoc analysis, creating queries and other functions
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint with experience creating and edited presentations
  • Prior experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Ability to analyze data and produce metric reporting to assist operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address issues in collaboration with others as appropriate
  • Strong sense of urgency and a high bias for action while making sound recommendations based upon a combination of analysis, experience, and judgments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • Prior experience with Oracle or similar ERP system and Essbase
  • Familiarity with PKMS/WMOS warehouse management systems
  • Experience managing a team
