POSITION SUMMARY:

With minimal supervision, supports receiving and profiling by collecting the critical dimensions and SKU attributes of all new SKUs entering the facility.  The WM clerk is also responsible for research regarding SKU set-up inquires, and assisting in other ICC functions as required.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Knowledge of Item Master
  • Understanding of PZ Codes
  • Working knowledge of cubiscan
  • Understand innerpack/master cast quantities
  • Knowledge of all necessary lock codes
  • Run reports to determine which SKUs are in need of WM and auditing
  • Coordinate with receiving, brand partners, and PZ to determine proper warehousing for each SKU
  • Understanding of receiving processes
  • Determine packaging and shipping requirements for each product (e.g. Hazmat or not)
  • Effectively communicate with other warehouse departments for proper prioritization and smooth flow of product
  • Ensures policies are followed and safety is enforced for the assigned department
  • Coordinates product transfers to other DC’s as required based on SKU attributes
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent strongly recommended
  • Proficiency in PkMS, Crystal Ease, Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word a must
  • Ability to read, understand, and make decisions based on: dimensions, expiration dates, fragility, and product materials
  • Flexibility to work any shift
  • Requires a considerable level of independence, communication skills, and arithmetic to accomplish objectives and projects
  • Must have the ability to cross train in multiple job functions, including operating PIT equipment
