SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNAL JOB BID ALERT

Associates are required to bid for job openings only during the specified time frame mentioned above. No exceptions will be made.

TO BID: WSI Associates must complete the Job Bid Application. No interview required. Associates must be in overall good standing (AMS / PN’s) and must maintain good standing throughout the bidding/ hiring process. Selection criteria is based on seniority.

The Forklift Driver is responsible for working with Hub operations management, leads, and team to ensure accurate picking, labeling and shipping of all products to meet the service level expectations of internal and external customers.
 

The Forklift Driver position is in Braselton, GA

 

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will.... 

  • Utilize WMOS system for picking transactions
  • Conduct dock searches for cartons as needed
  • Be able to systemically account for all cartons that are moved in assigned areas
  • Work with lead to prioritizing any hot orders
  • Verify product is on correct lanes
  • Inspect all merchandise for damages and count discrepancies
  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment
  • Keep work area safe, organized and clean according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements daily
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining required accuracy percentages, productivity (if required), and quality standards
  • Other duties as deemed necessary


Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 6 months’ experience with RF scanners
  • At least 1 year forklift experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (WMOS)
  • Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers
  • Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DC equipment: Reach Truck, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker, Motorized Pallet Jack
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
  • Flexible to work overtime as required

  • Must be able to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the day
  • Able to lift to 65 lbs.
  • Comfortable elevating on an order picker up to 45 feet
  • Able to use computer for an extended period
