The Merchandise Processor(s) - Stockroom position is in Claremont, NC.
 

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Receiving materials.
  • Check in product against packing list for accuracy.
  • Create/print labels and apply to cartons for putaway.
  • Pull correct product from a Pick Sheet to send to production floor.
  • Restocking material in shelves.
  • Using computer systems to locate material.
  • Other duties assigned by Manager.

Check out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidates….

  • At least 3 years of experience in upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
  • Certified to operate an Order Picker, Reach Truck.
  • Ability to operate RF equipment where needed.
  • Experience using computers for tracking and locating material.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Knowledge of distribution computer systems (WMS & OMS).
  • Computer and Microsoft Office experience.
  • Standard warehouse operation experience.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Good vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Good communication skills - oral and written.

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.

Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role….

  • Ability to frequently lift rolls/cartons weighing approximately 75 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to bend and twist.
  • Ability to work on your feet entire shift.
