SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNAL JOB BID ALERT

Post Date: 8/27/2026 NOON EST    End Date: 9/3/2026 NOON EST

 

Associates are required to bid for job openings only during the specified time frame mentioned above. No exceptions will be made.

TO BID: WSI Associates must complete the Job Bid Application. No interview required. Associates must be in overall good standing (AMS / PN’s) and must maintain good standing throughout the bidding/ hiring process. Selection criteria is based on seniority.

The Forklift Operator - Fabric Picking position is in Claremont, NC.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Receive and split fabric rolls.
  • Properly weigh fabric rolls and use the system weight multiplier.
  • Work with Hand Scanners for tracking and moving inventory.
  • Palletize fabric rolls and label accurately utilizing printed labels.
  • Unload material from vendor trucks and containers.
  • Pick fabric on demand by schedule.
  • Put away fabric by location using RF hand scanners.
  • Utilizing computers to look up locations for material.

  • At least 1 year forklift/order picker driving experience - Stand Up, Sit Down Forklift, Reach, Order picker experienced.
  • Able to work on Order picker more than 20ft in the air.
  • Ability to frequently lift rolls weighing approximately 75 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Ability to muti-task.
  • Computer experience.

We prefer some of these qualities as well….

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
  • Good communication skills – oral and written.
  • Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills including ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Ability to frequently lift rolls weighing approximately 75 lbs. or more.
  • Able to work on Order picker more than 20ft in the air.
  • Ability to bend and twist.
  • Ability to work on your feet the entire shift.
