The Fabric Cutter - Gerber Operator position is located in Claremont, NC.
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....
- Check that correct fabric is brought out and check for shade variations and any other defects prior to cutting.
- Be responsible for straightness, fabric repeat issues and other issues related to correct fabric appearance on the finished piece.
- Be responsible for spreading and cutting fabric in the most economical way.
- Tagging and separating the cover for distribution to sewing department.

- At least 3 years of experience in fabric cutting for upper end upholstered furniture.
- Experience reading and understanding production tickets.
- Ability to interpret simple cutting instructions commonly placed in a cutting manual.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
We prefer some of these qualities as well….
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Team-oriented personality.
- Experience working with the Gerber 2500.
- Experience in Flow Matching.
