The Merchandise Processor, Line Supply sets up assembly areas and ensures all parts needed to build the product are available. This position is a proactive approach through looking ahead and insuring there are no delays in building the product.
The Merchandise Processor, Line Supply position is in Claremont, NC.

- Practice safe work practices and demonstrate safe work habits to the workforce and adhere to the Personal Protective Equipment standards of the company throughout the facility.
- Adhere to the policies of WSI while performing any duties as assigned with a positive attitude and willing spirit to assist others in the department, facility, and the organization. Always acting with professional courtesy and the highest integrity.
- Organizes all materials and puts components in place for the upholstery department to build up the piece.
- Pushes build kits to the staging area on the floor for upholsterer to take to the workstation.
- Checks for accuracy and ensures all pieces of kit are from the same ticket.
- Tracks kits and tickets to ensure pieces are with the correct furniture frame.
- Manage old orders and ensure that proper communication of what is needed is conveyed to the supervisor.
- Submit, expedite, and locate repairs for the cell.

- At least 1 year of experience in line supply of an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
- Experience using computers for tracking and updating kit location for customer service.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
- Good communication – both oral and written.
- Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
- Excellent time-keeping skills, including ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to communicate with upholsterers and trimmers on issues related to furniture building.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates and managers.
- Have a strong sense of urgency and time management to meet established deadlines.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish.
